There are numerous factors that can lead to stress such as death of a loved one,divorce, getting married, chronic illness or injury, depression etc. As we think about current times such as the pandemic that has taken us by storm a stress factor that comes to mind is financial stress. Financial stress is currently the leading stress factor during COVID-19. There are many effected by COVID-19 financially because a large number of them have been laid off since the government closed all business that involved large groups congregating.


This type of stress can trigger various health symptoms however here are a few ways to manage financial stress:


  • Accept the current state of our economy and try to keep a positive mindset

  • Prioritize mental health care

  • Review your veteran benefits

  • Re-assess your finances, do not take any major risks
